This session provides a concise review of post-acute care policies for home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). Participants will learn about current policies, staffing mandates in SNFs, and their impact on occupational therapy practice. The session will offer actionable steps for practitioners and discuss AOTA’s ongoing advocacy efforts to influence policy changes and improve conditions for OT professionals and their patients.
