Addressing the Whole Body in Ortho Lesson

Course Description

This course challenges the outdated narrative that occupational therapists are limited to treating only the upper extremity and reclaims OT’s rightful role as whole-body, holistic musculoskeletal experts. Through evidence-based discussion and real-world clinical insight, participants will explore why OTPs are uniquely equipped to address the full spectrum of orthopedic care—from head to toe.

Attendees will gain the knowledge and advocacy tools needed to break through restrictive perceptions, expand their scope confidently, and elevate the value of OT in interdisciplinary orthopedic practice.

Let’s move beyond the arm and embrace the full potential of occupational therapy in orthopedic settings.
